While running is the core of our personal program, the kids learn that hard work, discipline, and perseverance lead to success, both at running and in life. These personalized lessons translate directly into their education, self-esteem, confidence, and healthy living.
PR Youth Running offers Summer youth personal training camps and numerous 5k and Kid Dash sponsored events throughout the year.
Each personal training session begins with self-esteem and confidence-building techniques, games, and ends with running exercises that help build a strong running foundation.
A typical personal training session starts with a esteem building games such as an agility game. Confidence building is next by teaching the kids to work hard and push through adversity. The session ends with distance running where we work on proper running techniques and form. By the end of the training session, each kid feels better about themselves, has tools to help them succeed, and become a better runner.
Our 5k and Kid Dash hosted events focus on bringing youth runners together in fun events to run and enjoy gathering as a team to have some running fun.
